The Henry Ford

One of the true gems of Michigan, The Henry Ford is a must-see for those who find themselves in search of a knock-out, sure-to-please destination in the Metro-Detroit area. The Henry Ford, which includes the Henry Ford Museum, Greenfield Village, the Ford Rouge Factory Tour, the Henry Ford IMAX Theater and the Benson Ford Research Center, is dedicated to preserving the American experience. This is done, in part, by displaying many of the items (like toys, cars, tractors, trains, and furniture) used by people of that time, as well as through reenactment of life as it was at the turn of the last century.

Here is a short clip of the steam locomotive at Greenfield Village. The historic train pulls visitors over 3 miles of track, with interesting stops along the way.

Here's a little bit of music and dancing taken during the RagTime Festival at The Henry Ford's Greenfield Village.
