Ford Field before the Holidays - 2008

I realize this is a website dedicated to tourism in Michigan. So, in a broad sense, any recreational activity in state is comprised of people traveling from point A to B. It is one specific place that I write – Ford Field Stadium, home of the Detroit Lions football team.

On Sunday, Dec 7th (Pearl Harbor Day) I, along with three close friends, had the good fortune and opportunity to see the Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings (outcome predictable), from a premium Motor City Casino suite, up on level 5 of the stadium. The stadium has a roof so even though, the wind chill was 6°, inside was as comfortable as a 68° living room, albeit a lot louder!
