I realize this is a website dedicated to tourism in Michigan. So, in a broad sense, any recreational activity in state is comprised of people traveling from point A to B. It is one specific place that I write – Ford Field Stadium, home of the Detroit Lions football team.

On Sunday, Dec 7^th (Pearl Harbor Day) I, along with three close friends, had the good fortune and opportunity to see the Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings (outcome predictable), from a premium Motor City Casino suite, up on level 5 of the stadium. The stadium has a roof so even though, the wind chill was 6°, inside was as comfortable as a 68° living room, albeit a lot louder!

What would you say are the top Michigan attractions? When I say top, I mean the ultimate, well-known, travel-tested, been-there or plan-to-go, tourist destinations. These are the places you'd tell a stranger from another state, or even another country, to visit.
